Kroger Gift Card Program
Support the Rowan County Band with Kroger Gift Cards
By shopping at Kroger, you can get 4% of what you spend donated to the Rowan County Band Program without any extra cost to you. Here is how you do it.
First, purchase a gift card from the Band for $5.00. The card will already have a $5.00 credit applied to it. These must be bought from the band directors or Anita Rummage, Rowan County Band Booster president. CARDS PURCHASED IN THE STORE DO NOT EARN THE BAND $$$$$$
Next, take the card and recharge the gift card (see below) using cash, check or credit card and start shopping. All discounts, coupons, etc. still apply. You simply pay with the gift card. Each time you recharge your card, the Rowan County Band will receive 4% of that amount from the Kroger Company.
Here are a few rules that apply.
- You can put up to $500.00 on your card. You can always check the balance of you card by looking at your latest receipt or by calling 1-866-822-6252.
- Each card can be recharged an unlimited number of times!!!!!!!
- Gift cards may be recharged up to $100 at any register. To recharge more than $100 they must be recharged at the service desk before you shop. Important Note: If you wish to use the gift card to pay for your groceries, the gift card must be recharged and paid for prior to being used as payment for the groceries. In other words, you must tell the cashier that you wish to recharge the gift card before the groceries are rung. If the gift card is recharged within the grocery order, it cannot be used to pay for that order. The gift card recharge must be done as a separate transaction first.
- A card with a $0 balance will be deleted from the system in 90 days. You must then purchase a new card from the Band which contains a special ID #. CARDS PURCHASED IN THE STORE DO NOT EARN THE BAND $$$$$$
- You may have to wait 5 minutes if you recharge at the service desk to use the card. If you recharge at the checkout before your groceries are run through, there is no wait.
- The cards can be used and recharged at the Kroger Fuel Station. They can also be used in all Kroger stores throughout the US, so you can send them to family members and friends to help the Band raise money.
- Cards can not be used for: Money orders, Western Union, Lottery tickets, Stamps, Hunting/Fishing License and Ticket Master.
